Owl with Ice Cream

I made a fun shape card by welding two owl images together using my gypsy. The owl and ice cream cone are from the cartridge Straight From the Nest. I added a gem and google eyes and raised the ice cream cone on foam squares. The stamp on the inside is from Pink By Design. This card fits many challenges, the ice cream cone lets it fit in summer challenges and the pink lets it fit for feminine birthdays.

Tag Card

Paper Playtime is having a challenge using tags. I decided to use a tag to make a card. I used my Gypsy and welded two tags together and then cut it out to be my card. The patterned paper is from DCWV. The stamp is from Joy's Life. The cake is from the cartridge Simply Charmed. Since I had to cut the cake out small to fit my card, the sprinkles and the circles for the cheeks didn't cut out well, so I used gems instead of the paper cut out. I added Stickles to the flames. I added some google eyes for some extra fun. The ribbon is attatched with glue dots so it did't have to be tied. I am also adding this card to the challenge on Clear It Out Challenge Blog, Five Simple Things, Everyday Is An Occasion, Jo's Scrap Shack, Crafty Ribbons Challenge and Make It Monday.

Fluttering By

The challenge at BBTB2 made me use a cartridge I have had for years but never used. The challenge is Disney. I used the cartridge Disney Classics. The stamp is from Pink Scrapper. I embossed the mat, added Stickles to the butterfly's body, pearls from Stampin Up and layered bakers twine on ribbon. I am also entering this card on Frosted Designs (ribbon, twine and washi tape), Party Time Tuesday (wing it), Jo's Scrap Shack, Everyday Is An Occasion, D.L. ART, Krafty Girls and Make It Monday.

Summer Ladybug Card

For this card I used the Create A Critter cartridge for the ladybug and the grass is from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge. I used a Darice embossing folder to make the clouds on the mat. I used a Peachy Keen Stamp for the face and Stickles on the ladybug's spots. The card is 4 inches x 4 inches. I am entering this card on Die Cuttin Divas (ruby red), Fantabulous Cricut (cute as a bug), My Creative Time (square card), Everyday Is An Occasion, Pink Cricut, D.L. ART, Scrapper's Delight Challenge Blog (summer brights) and Make It Monday.

Bee Shape Card

It has been awhile since I made a card other than the standard shape. The card, along with the mat, is from the cartridge Birthday Bash and the teddy bear is from Teddy Bear Parade. I embossed the mat with an embossing folder from Tim Holtz. The ribbon is from American Crafts. I used a Peachy Keen Stamp for the cute face. I added a Prima flower with gem to the little bear. I put some Stickles to the top of the antennas. I think this card turned out quite cute. The only thing I would changed next time is to make the mat bigger. I am entering this card into several challenges, Peachy Keen Challenge, 3 Girl Jam, Five Simple Things, Everyday Is An Occasion, Delightful Challenges, Jo's Scrap Shack, Through the Craft Room Door Challenge Blog and Creative Moments.

On the Farm

On the blog, Craftin Desert Divas, there is a on the farm challenge. I used the cartridge Create A Critter, the face stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I added an Action Wobble to the cow, popped up the sentiment with foam squares and added a couple of brads to the corners.
